Terms of Service for Route Planner Airtable Extension

Acceptance of Terms

By using the Route Planner extension for Airtable ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.

Description of Service

The Route Planner extension provides route planning functionality within Airtable by:

• Converting addresses to coordinates using geocoding services
• Calculating optimal routes between multiple locations
• Displaying interactive maps with route visualization
• Enabling export of routes to external mapping applications

User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Extension only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Extension to process addresses that violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
• Use the Extension to transmit malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Use the Extension in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service

Data Accuracy

• You are responsible for the accuracy of address data you provide
• We are not responsible for errors in route calculations due to inaccurate address data
• You should verify route results before relying on them for navigation

Rate Limits and Fair Use

• The Extension uses external services with rate limits
• You agree to use the Extension reasonably and not to exceed service limits
• We reserve the right to limit usage if it affects service availability for other users

External Services

Third-Party Services

The Extension relies on external services for functionality:

• OpenStreetMap Nominatim: For address geocoding
• OSRM: For route calculation
• OpenStreetMap: For map tiles and data
• Google Maps/Apple Maps: For external route viewing

Service Availability

• We do not guarantee the availability of external services
• Route planning may be unavailable if external services are down
• We are not responsible for the performance or availability of third-party services

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• The Extension and its code are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• We retain all rights to the Extension not expressly granted to you

Third-Party Rights

• OpenStreetMap data is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL)
• You must comply with OpenStreetMap's attribution requirements
• Other third-party services are subject to their respective terms

Attribution Requirements

When using the Extension, you must:

• Display OpenStreetMap attribution as required by their license
• Respect the terms of service of all external services used

Privacy and Data

Data Handling

• Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy
• We do not permanently store your Airtable data
